The top level is to build the software via the images that are built by convey/convey.yaml

Forgot to mention, this was we avoid having a "builders" repo that is tracked separately than the software itself.

Ah okay, maybe the directory name could be different? It doesn't quite convey (pun slightly intended) that it's for the build images.

suggestions? images is a bit too generic builders maybe?

we can't use builders because ^build.*\/ is in .hgignore.
